The Great Wildebeest Migration in the Serengeti is the largest single movement of wild animals that no where in the world is there a movement of around 1.5 million wildebeests accompanied by over 200,000 zebras migrate from the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania to the greener pastures of the Maasai Mara National Reserve.

For them, every year is an endless journey, chasing the rains in a race for life. The action takes place across 150,000 square miles of woodlands, hills and open plains

The migration has to cross the Mara River in the Maasai Mara where crocodiles will prey on them. In the Maasai Mara they will be hunted, stalked, and run down by the larger carnivores.
